Dave Jones is the CEO of StormCenter Communications, Inc. and has presented at TFRSAC over the years about his SBIR Phase III technology called GeoCollaborate. This technology enables disparate system interoperability by placing all participants on the same map at the same time so everyone is looking at the same data in a real-time collaborative environment. This capability improves situational awareness and decision making across sectors, agencies and organizations.

GeoCollaborate is being adopted by US Federal Agencies such as NOAA, DHS CISA, the US Census Bureau, private sector organizations and most recently the State of Florida to more effectively access and share critical trusted data to drive decision making. StormCenter is funded as a prime contractor under NOAA’s JPSS Program to participate in their Fire & Smoke and River, Ice & Flooding Initiatives to put more NOAA data to work in decision making environments.

Additional Highlights:
• SBA Tibbitts Award Winner by the Small Business Administration for exceptional performance under the SBIR program.
• Earth Science Information Partner (ESIP) Partner of the Year 2020
• Member of NASA SEDC Users Working Group (UWG)
• Member of NOAA’s EEOOTT, Extreme Events Ocean Observing Task Team
• Co-Chair of ESIP Disaster Lifecycle Cluster (DLC)
• Creator of ESIP DLC’s ‘Ecosystem of Innovation’ linking strengths of ESIP clusters to decision making agencies and organizations for rapid transition of research to operations
